Spiritual Leadership Coaching

The coaching process is utilized by professionals who are seeking to practice principles of spirituality and virtuousity in the workplace. The client and coach partner together to create new awareness to overcome obstacles and fill gaps in the areas they (or their team) need help in.
Once clients have identified the root of the issue and what to do about it, clients can begin to take action to design new spiritual/virtuous practices that will
bring harmony and effectiveness to their work and produce the new results they want. As they explore virtues such as Respect, Courage, Patience, Discipline, Compassion, Forgiveness, Gratitude,
Humility, and others, and begin to put them into practice, they learn that it can reshape priorities, elevate personal and organizational vision and mission, and strengthen
relationships.
By finding new meaning through coaching, their intuition and creativity come alive, allowing them to pursue new personal and professional
fulfillment.
The spiritual leadership coaching process involves frequent "checking in" to see how new practices are going and whether adjustment and further change need to take place in order to create the desired outcome. Clients may also be challenged by Marcel during the coaching process when their actions aren't aligned with their spiritual values, or what they have stated they want.
Marcel Schwantes engages his professional clients in one of three ways:
|
One-on-One Coaching |
Professionals of all levels can benefit from overcoming their declared challenges or conflicts that are getting in the way of their desired goals. Most clients create sustainable change at the conclusion of a 6-month coaching agreement. Coaching sessions can be in person or over the phone or Skype.

Team and Group Coaching |
A systemic approach to coaching, leaders and team members benefit from the group coaching process by challenging asumptions that are preventing them from achieving their desired results as a team, department or organization. They often discover the need to overcome performance gaps by creating and fostering caring behaviors among co-workers; by integrating character, integrity, accountability and reality into relationships across silos; by being true to themselves and others; and by openly asking questions to test if company actions are aligned with higher meaning and purpose.
Outcomes from these practices will generally demonstrate some or all of the following:
- Increased accountability practices among team members.
- A social responsibility orientation.
- Strong service commitments to internal and external customers.
- Environmental sensitivity.
- A significant improvement in team communication, synergy and morale, leading to less conflict and turnover.
